Happy New Years!!! 2010

I have not blogged much lately however a lot has happened since the last blog entry. I have decided to start a small company called "THC" the agency will complete home studies for counties and private agencies that want to certify foster and adoptive families. I found 4 people that want to contract with me to do the actual home studies and two of them are already trained. The system is pretty basic. The agencies will send THC the home study information and THC will send it to a subcontractor that will complete the study and send it back to THC for approval. THC will sign off on it and send it to the county or private agency. Pretty simple and wont gross a lot in the beginning but after 6 months I will approach the agencies for the exclusive contract to do all of their h.s's through THC thus eliminating all other competition. My job will be to convince the agencies that it is in their best interest to work with us as opposed to whomever they are currently contracting with. After a year I will go for the exclusive contracts with all of the major counties and agencies in the state. We will make our money in volume. It is relatively cheap to start and we will profit only about 150 per home study but passive income is passive income. I could also do a few home studies myself for about $700 a pop if I need extra cash. Last week I submitted my application for insurance for the agency. I'll keep you posted on what the quote is. Hopefully it won’t kill me. Progress is slow but progress none the less. My goal this week is to stay away from the TV and spend my time creating an agency protocol and operating procedure. I also have to get an agency to buy into what I am attempting to do and agree to contract with me. Before I do that I will need the insurance and to be put on the State approved vendors list. This should not take too much time. I should have this complete by Friday (you hold me to this). I have to admit I am battling major fears now. I think to myself (why would an agency believe in Me., especially after the first business failure? my reply...Why not? I am smart and a hard worker; I have good contractors and a catchy business motto. If I don’t believe in me... no one will! Failure is reserved for those that quit.
As of now I am broke, I am starting the process of filing bankruptcy, My group home has just been foreclosed on and I have to sell all of the things in the house (craigslist) and the creditors are crawling all around me. I am fine on my mortgage but the foreclosure on the other house is going to kill my credit. I have 7 vehicles and only one is working I cannot afford to get the others fixed. My wife is driving our only working car to get her back and forth to work. Not quite sure how I'm going to get back and forth to work next week but ill figure out something. I realize that my situation seems bad and to some insurmountable. But not me, this trial is going to make success the second time around so much sweeter. This is where I'm, at but not where I'm going. Trust me this will be a great story some day. Thanks for reading...until next time. "Accomplish something next week"

Wow has it been 3 months since my first and last post. Life changes quickly and has no mercy for those that cannot keep up. Today I find myself with a job. I accepted a position as a social worker with a local county, it is considered to be a good job by most good benefits, good security, ok salary, and nice people. But I feel trapped enslaved even not by my job, but by the situation. I tasted freedom I escaped my captures three years ago, and tasted freedom, now I am enslaved again. This blog will chronically my escape from slavery to freedom, not in the physical since but in the mental and financial since. Today I make about $48k a year, this time last year I made about $40,000 a month. I will climb up from this situation and as you follow me, my incite will assist you out of yours. I recommit to my blog I will attempt to chronical my day and my moves and decisions and plan to get to a million dollars in 730 days. Keep in touch.

To understand my present situation you must first understand the situation that led me to this point. I early 2005 I decided to start my own company. After consulting with a good friend and self-made millionaire in Los Vegas for my 31st birthday he inspired me to get started, to jump in with both feet according to him you cannot pursue your dream part time, either do it or don't do it but you cant half do it. It was at that time that I decided to stop giving excuses and go for it. the next Monday I went back to work in Colorado and submitted my resignation. 2 weeks later it was official, I fired the last job I will ever have. Yes it was scary, but It was the most liberating thing that I have ever done. Like a slave escaping from his master and actually making it to freedom. Fast forward time 9 months I have my first contract and Life is good , marriage is great and family couldn't be better, Fast forward 18 months, Business is great making more money than I ever imagined in fact more money that any one else that I knew, moved my parents in from out of state to work for me, moved in my best friend and his wife and son, hired lawyers an HR company to do payroll and HR work, brought in an IT consultant, an accounting company and even hired an Program Coordinator to help manage the team. I celebrated my 33 birthday in Maui with my wife, in a beautiful 5 star resort over looking the Pacific ocean. Fast forward 6 months. the Agency lost its only contract, laid of all of its staff and is out of capital, we are basically broke. This is where I am at today, Looking to create a new agency A Child Placement Agency that I will build grow and make into a national company in 2 years. This is my goal this is why you will follow me. I will be honest with my thoughts, struggles and dilemmas. I have little money and lots of ambition. My contract has ended on 4/10/09 and I have been with out income since then. Enjoy the Ride.

Day 1- Today was a tough day I feel the pressure. I am not providing for my family. I am considering temporarily being licensed by an existing Child Placement Agency (CPA). I have a house on the West side that I was using for a group home and now
I am paying a mortgage in it but not living in it. My mom currently lives there but she worked for me and when the first company folded she became unemployed. so she cannot pay the mortgage. What Am I going to do? Thank you Jesus...I received a check in the mail from the insurance company that I canceled for $1874.00 it is not much but It buys me a few more days of oxygen. I don't have enough to cover all of my bills so I guess I will "rob Peter to pay Paul" I have accumulated a lot of info stuff in the past 2 1/2 years I will try to sell some of it on Craigslist, I hope it sells if not I don't know what I'm going to do. Today My mother and I called several CPA's to see if they will take over the sponsorship of the agency no takers yet but I will keep trying because this house needs to generate some money. I am prepared to call every CPA in the State if necessary. I only have until 5/15/11 to be a millionaire...By the way the county did not even pay me for the work that I did last month, it was only $800 but when you're broke and pinching pennies that is a lot of money, the county is blaming the state and the state acts like they don't know what the hell is going on. apparently they closed the Contract on 4/1/09 instead of 4/11/09 thus not allowing the payroll to be processed. I was expecting payment today...I needed payment today...No payment today...What am I going to do? does the county even care that I am desperate? I doubt it...MY wife is a trooper although is concerned she is really trying to wrap her brain around our present situation.
No matter what I will not quit "failure is only reserved for those that quit"
...pray for me,...until next time...Enjoy the ride!!!
